Discover our School

Any institution which aspires for the heights of fame, reputation and excellence have a mission and vision of its own. Gurukul Mount Public School is not an exception.

The school is set to walk or work towards a pre-set goal a mission with a vision. It does not believe in stuffing the child with mere Knowledge and literacy, but it wants to provide a real educational experience; the overall development of the child. An infant brought to the pre- school will be passing through different and versatile experiences and gets transformed into a youth of moral and social values. A team of experienced hands mould the skills and talents of the wards

Principal's Message

I am elated and proud to be the Principal of this esteemed temple of knowledge situated in the sylvan hamlet of Mundukuzhy away from the bustling urban life. Being in the bosom of nature, this school is an ideal place for serene learning.

Lon Watters describes school as a building which has four walls with tomorrow inside. Yes, we are in the process of preparing our children for tomorrow. Our children have to cope with the challenges that they will have to face in their life with confidence and integrity. If this has to happen, they have to be trained in 21st-century skills. We have incorporated the inculcation of these skills in our students through the variety of activities designed and executed in our school.

Our academic structure has been framed as per NEP 2020. As we know, revolutionary changes are taking place in the realm of school education and higher education in India. We want our school also at par with these innovative changes. The guidelines put forward by NCF are also being implemented in the school so that our children should get accustomed to holistic learning.

We are well aware that rote learning is not sufficient for the concept formation that has to take place as a result of learning. Our students should be able to apply what they have learned into practical life, which only will make their learning fruitful. Here in our school, we have restricted the class strength so that individual attention can be given to the students, which will accelerate their concept formation.

Let me wish the best to all my loving students and the staff members. I conclude with the lines by Robert Frost:

"Woods are lovely, dark, and deep
But I have promises to keep,
Miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."

Yes, we have a lot more strides to make for us to reach the heights of success. Let us move together.

With love,
Franklin Mathew
Principal
